Great Camping AT China Creek Marina & Campground Port Alberni BC

Situated along the shores of Alberni Inlet and approximately 8 kilometers from the town center, is 🚤 China Creek Marina and Campground.

This is a beautiful secluded full facility 🏕 campground, and one that is very popular among 🎣 fishing enthusiasts!

With Port Alberni’s slogan …

“Hooked On! –  Adventure”

 

It’s no wonder people flock to this part of {Vancouver Island}, for world class 🐟 fishing!

For those making their way to world famous 🏄 Tofino – British Columbia also on Vancouver Island, Port Alberni is situated off 🛣 Highway 4 – directly on the way!

If you’re looking for a unique place to stay, with some wonderful attractions for the family to enjoy, then I certainly recommend spending some time in this city.

There’s 🥾 hiking and 🐟 fishing, 🪁 wind surfing and much more for the outdoor enthusiasts.

Also, don’t miss a thrilling ride on 🚂 The Alberni Pacific Railway Steam Locomotive Adventure and The McLean Mill National Historic Site.

When you arrive, you will be surprised on just how much Port Alberni has to offer!

The campground and 🛥 marina are controlled by The Port Alberni Port Authority. They offer a full service marina and boat launches, together with a unique and diverse full facility campground.

Situated along Alberni Inlet, the campground offers stunning views of the inlet, complete with ocean front campsites to choose from.

Enjoy the stunning view and beautiful 🌅 sunsets!

Getting to China Creek

Note:

Reaching the campground and marina includes approximately 5.8 kilometers of gravel road.
The road is very wide and the largest of Recreational Vehicles with tows will have no problem.

The road is rough, so take it slow and yield to working 🌲 forestry vehicles sharing the road.

The campground is quite unique, giving the camper the option of; open – ocean front camping, more rustic 🌲 treed park like campsites, as well as wide open spaces for 🔌 full hookups and longer term camping.

With 250 dry, partial or full hookup sites to choose from, there’s bound to be the perfect spot for you and your family.

The property has full 🚻 washrooms, 🚿 shower and laundry facilities.

There’s also a 🧒 children’s playground and large open grassed section to enjoy.
